Water soluble vitamins are essential to your health, and each one has its own function in the body and due to its solubility in water, is normally easily lost in urine.

Vitamins B complex, including thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, B6 (pyridoxine), folacin, B12 (cyanocobalamin), pantothenic acid, biotin and vitamin C, as well as PABA, inositol and choline are all water soluble and are therefore classed as "water-soluble vitamins".
Although PABA, inositol and choline are listed here, their classification as vitamins is sometimes questioned.
This class of nutrient can not be stored in the body to the same extent as that of fat soluble vitamins, and because of this, deficiencies are more likely to manifest themselves than those of the fat-soluble class.
